Special Guest Host
Bo Koltnow
Emmy winner and anchor of "69 News at Sunrise: Weekend Edition Saturdays

During his tenure with 69 News, Bo's covered everything from Barack Obama's 2008 inauguration, the Jerry Sandusky trial, the Boston Marathon bombings, the devastation of Superstorm Sandy at the Jersey Shore and in Lower Manhattan, and a nearly two-dozen-story adventure series called "Bo's Xtreme Adventures."

He especially likes to focus on environmental issues, animal abuse matters, and human-interest features. This includes his long-running series, Adopt Lehigh Valley Kids, in which foster kids are highlighted. His series has helped numerous kids be adopted.

In 2019, the Pennsylvania Humane Society named him their Media Hero of the Year for his work on animal issues, specifically highlighting puppy mills.

In fall of 2017 and winter of 2020, Bo traveled to Puerto Rico to report on Hurricane Maria and then the massive earthquakes. Traveling deep into the mountains and along the coast, he reported on the daily struggles of Puerto Ricans coping with the after-effects of both disasters; both assignments garnered Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominations. In 2021, he received an Emmy for his role in covering the 2020 Presidential election.

Bo reports weekdays for 69 News and anchors the 69 News at Sunrise: Weekend Edition Saturdays with co-anchor Karin Mallett.

Our annual Bistro event isn't just a festive time to celebrate organizational successes, it's also the most critical fundraiser that Third Street Alliance hosts to raise more than $100,000 to support the programs and resources that our community needs. Donations to our Bistro fund-a-need campaign play an important role in raising these funds by contributing more than $20,000 in funds. Donations to our fund-a-need campaign are also a great way to support our Bistro event if you aren't able to attend in person.

Help us reach our $20,000 goal this year by making your fund-a-need campaign donation today!

Sponsorships

Sponsorships and silent auction donations are what make the Bistro possible each year. Because of the generosity of committed Community Partners, Bistro has continued to raise funds for the programs at Third Street Alliance that inspire and equip women, children, and families to live, learn, and thrive. Thank you to all of the community leaders and partners that made our Bistro 2023 so successful!
